I am need a saving account and the ones offered in Dubai seem, well pretty st to be honest.

Don't want one in the UK I know that much.

Any recommendations..? save me keeping the cash under my mattress and then spending it as its lumpy biggrin

They're st in most places now. Dubai is terrible though compared to somewhere like the UK - at least there the saving rates are in line with the borrowing rates. Here you can't get any interest on savings yet they run at 7-9% interest for mortgages.

India is where you need to be but there are limitations of access.

Yea Nick - not much but better than keeping it in my account which I will then spend.

Cheers Asterix. I don't think I can get an account out there from what you were saying.

Looks like the Mattress Account wins smile

How about offshore? Can introduce you to a friend who represents Cayman National Bank.

Cheers Jon - can you pm me the details.

Nick - I don't have much but its better than nothing, I don't have the bills others seem to have (the joys of being poor means I cant spend)
