TV Channel heads up for football fans

Premiership is going to be on Jazeera for the next 3 seasons at least, announced today.

Unless you want the F1 in English I see little point in AD Sports now, I've just cancelled it.

I only have AD Sports for the English F1 as I have no interest in football... hopefully if it's gone to another channel AD sports may start showing the WRC again....

I rather doubt it though, they really should rename the channels AD Football 1, 2 etc as (F1 excepted) that's all they seem to show so I'm sure they'll find some ball kicking to show - Guatemalan youth football maybe?

I got rid of Du a while back as I was sick of paying 1200 a month for a load of toilet. So, I got all singing-all dancing satellite instead....Over 2,500 channels. 2 months or so down the line and now I have 2 channels!!!!!! CNN and Al Jazeera News!!!

Whilst we are here, AD sports in Engrish? Really? Mine was always in Arabic.

How have you managed to lose 2498 channels in 2 months lol, has the dish been moved?

AD Sports in English is part of the add-on AD sports package, an additional 40aed a month or so, AD sports 6 is the main English channel, was great for Wimbledon and as previously mentioned it carries all the F1 with the bbc commentary as well.

Never understood why peeps pay big money for the TV packages here. I have the basic TV plan that comes with the phone/net/tv package and it's more than enough.

Seriously, what the hell do you get to watch for 1200Dhs a month? I have around 6-8 channels (tv and movie) that I might watch on or off throughout the week plus streaming through VPN and the odd torrent.

I've wondered that as well, I pay 540aed a month including AD sports (I only have that so I can get the F1 in English)
I reckon I watch about 2 or 3 hrs of TV a week so I just don't need anything more.

I think Chilli had about 8 du boxes scattered around his mansion hence the bill.

My complete Du bill comes to around 600, internet, home phone (which she uses for international sometimes) and TV, complete OSN plus AD Sports, Jazeera Sports and ESPN, two of which I have just canned.

Just the 3 boxes, two recording. Then there's the separate sim for the iPad, and the home phone. Now we just have the phone and the Internet, so about 300 per month.
