So, our hours are 10:00 - 16:00. That's fine. However, given that I struggle to fill 08:00 - 10:00 what the hell am I going to do?

I need ideas. I need ideas that will have to be both interesting and prove useful, and won't really need me to leave the comfort of my office.

Knowing your "skillz" - this should take a few weeks for you to build:

Won't they just let you work 8-2?

Seems more sensible.

That is absolutely brilliant! How much are they and do they come with an 'idiots guide'?

To much machining in those V8 kits.

I've always fancied one of these :

Looking at the parts list, there's actually too little to do! I need more nuts and bolts!

Our official hours are 9:30am - 3:30pm.

No doubt I'll be working to the usual 6pm anyway.

Major benefit is the roads are empty at that time.

4pm is generally know as the 'time to die' on the roads as all the muppets are battling to get home as quickly as possible having not had anything for 11 hours.

It is the way forward, it really is. Something petrol powered that requires a little tinkering and not just plugging-in.

In that case a Tamiya kit - OK it might be battery powered but fun to build

Or

FJ Marder - petrol, noisy and smelly

There's one next to Lamcy Plaza as well - or at least there was.

If you were standing in front of Lamcy looking at it, turn right and follow the road round the corner for no more that 75 metres and it's on the left side.

The back of Lamcy (the side with the big car park?) so you'd walk past that Adidas shop and Chili's?

Hmm that's easier than Deira and means I can pop into Lamcy and buy another G-Shock as well.

Edit - Damn you Chilli, I am now looking at RC toys online!
