Caterham Roadsport SV for sale (Dubai)
Discussion
Hi,
I imported a Caterham 7 Roadsport SV from Belgium in 2012 (the Fat Man's Caterham, with a wider chassis and more storage space, so is a pretty useful tourer for weekends into Oman) and because of sod's law it now looks like my contract is about to end and I'm moving on. Unfortunately the place I'm moving to doesn't let Caterhams onto the road and whilst it's great fun on track, I'm not convinced I'd get enough track use out of it to justify the expense of shipping it with me. That said, I don't really want to sell her and it hurts that I'm even having to consider it having taken 3 years in Dubai to find the right one to bring over.
She is a 2009 EU5 spec Roadsport
120 BHp 1.6l Ford Sigma engine
36000 kms
Kawasaki green with black twin stripe
Limited Slip Diff
Black Pack
15" 10 spoke wheels
Track Day roll bar
Leather seats
Quick Release Momo Steering Wheel
Air con - oh, hold on..., no...
Serviced by the guys at Gulf Sport
Reliable, full service history.
UAE Import Tax Paid and Dubai-registered.
Fuel gauge standard Caterham, don't trust it - looks good parked on the hard shoulder of SZR though which is worth the money alone.
Registered (simply) in Dubai (Abu Dhabi is apparently a slight challenge with more running around required, but possible), has been tracked at Yas a few times and Dubai and always gets lots of attention. Really fun car in the winter, slightly more challenging in the summer (though no roof and doors in the evening and morning is easily bearable!) Best car in terms of parking at Dubai hotels, they move the Ferraris for it every time which gives you a really nice warm fuzzy feeling!
Really just looking to see what interest there might be to help me decide whether to sell her or not - I want her to go to a good home where she will be driven, not just parked up. Looking for OIRO AED130000.
If you're interested, please drop me a PM.
