Abu dhabi f1gp best stand?
Discussion
Hi,
I've used the button and seem to have contradicting opinions on the best stand for the abu dhabi grand prix that I'm lucky to be going to this year (as long as I can get tickets!).
I'll be the first time we're going to watch an f1 race, so don't want it ruined by making a stupid decision on where we're sitting.
Could people that have been to the circuit give me an honest opinion on which grandstand I'd get the best view of the race?
Thanks in advanced

West Grandstand is the best 'seat in the house' for action as you'll be able to see the cars braking from the main straight, through the chicane onto the Marina section and off up towards the support pits area. Assuming you're sat high enough you'll then see them again as they come up towards the hotel and under the hotel bridge.
There's a new 'general admission' ticket this year which looks to be a good option. It doesn't give you a seat, but allows you access to the grassed area in the middle of the circuit. This is between the main grandstand and north grandstand and will have views of the cars coming down the hill, through the chicane and back up the main straight.

Watch...... I seem to recall you partaking of a boat party on one of the days.... lol
2 days actually It was awesome although having to watch the race on the big TV whilst sipping on cold beer was disappointing as you could only hear and not see the cars going round the marina...NOT..!Claire
