Any ideas as to the most cost effective way of getting an engine back to the UK?

Short of disassembling the motor down to component parts and taking the bits back in my luggage every time I go home, I have no clue as to how I’m gona get this thing home.

All sensible ideas welcome

Most freight agents will do a mixed load in a container on m3 rate.

Crate it up and send it back via any of the courier companies. Should be a pretty straightforward enough job and wouldn't take that long to get back.

Going via a 'shipper' route would see your stuff hanging around until they fill a container with other people's goods. Probably the cheaper route, but will take a lot longer to get it back to the UK.

A little O/T.. sorry.

If I wanted to send back one box, about 1m3, what is the best way to send?

Would be looking for packing materials also...

Cheers
