Dumped Du to a)save 1200 a month and b) wanted more channels (read pron).
Guys come round and do the business. A week later and the channels are failing all over the place. Sky news for example. Guy comes round when I'm not there and Bless Lisa, she falls for the Arabic Sky News and off he goes. I've rung so many times now, and they are always coming round tonight, but they don't show. Now they won't pick up from my office or mobile number, and I'm fast running out of other random phones to use!

Do I...

a) Pay the office a visit with the boys
b) Take it on the chin, get someone else in and be robbed by them as well
c) Complain to the bib
d) Threaten to do c)
e) Stop watching tely.
f) Re-Connect with DU.

combination of a and c. tell them the options when you leave their office are either someone comes with you to fix the dish, or you head to the copshop with their address and pics you've just taken

Amazing, they just came round. Checked everything, and there's no probes this end. Phoned "head office" and it turns out those pesky sat ownersnhave changed/updated some passwords. I have to wait 2 days for their experts to crack the new codes!

Sling box works anywhere in the world, you set uo in the uk it has an IP address you can access on the internet.

I never used by my Sis set it up in the US

I have a spare slingbox in the UK that I was about to throw on e-bay.....

Can confirm it works perfectly here in DXB as I used it to watch the F1 before getting the AUD Sports package
Only 2 issues with it.

1) You need a fast net connection with low latency at both ends otherwise pics get blocky and sound drops out
2) When you change the channels on the slingbox it changes the output channel of your V+ box in the UK, not an issue for me as my house is empty when I'm away but if you have someone at home you really need a 2nd dedicated V+ box
