Doubtful. Haven't done anything on it for a good while. Kicking myself slightly as could have got robbi to do a few jobs whilst I am away.

More a heads up for terry (and others) really, chance to give the cayman a run out. The 2 previous trackdays is for total beginners really. I'm sure with the experience he has he will be fine.

Handbrake is in a very strange position for a caterham, and the bonnet looks over vented for a factory item, does an5one know what ford engine it is? Guessing 711m given the age. It deserves something better.

The Caterham was not advertised it was tracked down. Up until the early 90's the handbrake was under the dash, later ones on the tunnel. Also the race spec chassis have them under the dash.

I'm looking at the one on dubizzle? the hand brake comment- agree completely with you regarding location, that's why I questioned it- the one in the ad I have seen isn't beneath the dash where it should be for the year, nor recessed into the transmission tunnel (which looks too wide for a caterham)

But the one jase is buying hasn't been advertised.

Had a great time at the Autodrome last night. Thanks Phil for letting me know about it and to Steve and the folks at Evolve.ae for putting on such a good event.

First time in ages that i've done a trackday on standard road tyres, made worse by forgetting my pressure gauge - entertaining all the same! The Porker held up well, surprisingly adjustable on the limit and lots of fun. Not sure the tiptronic 'box is really up to the track work though, at least on the shorter circuit...I can see this getting expensive!

Glad you enjoyed it, I will try and speak to the folk at DA about getting us some discount for summer track days and now that you have done a track day, you should be allowed on the longer versions of the circuit.
