After heading out to buy a sensible car I returned with a Porsche Cayman. All is good with it except the driver's side mirror, which seems to have a convex lens ( I'm guessing this was an option) . Unfortunately its next to useless for judging distances so it has to go. Any ideas for where to get a new glass bit in dubai or is dropping my trousers at the opc the only option?

Satwa glass shops ? get one cut to suit and then just a bit of windscreen bog on the back ?

Or for a sensible sugestion, shop and ship.

as above. if you don't have a shop & ship account you are welcome to use mine, but i would highly recommend getting one of your own.

I order all my porsche bits from the US and have them delivered to the office.

However, as I hate to admit it, somewhere like ARM motors might be able to help you, they are quite good at sourcing these items at a relatively good price either new or 2nd hand.

Might also be worth a call to Al Jabri car services in Sharjah, 06 5326740, ask for Doriud. Useful source of used parts.

Cheers all, and thanks Jason. It will take me 3 weeks just to find the Porsche dealership! so if you could it would be very much appreciated.

I get all my bits from pelican parts - www.pelicanparts.com

With cheapest courier cost, parts are usually here in about 5 days from California.
