OK. So I have been looking at Z3's and found a couple in my price range.
However they are 1997 - 2000 years models and the 5 insurance companies I have called said No to fully comp and yes to 3rd party but only for 1 year and next year they won't renew as "parts are too hard to come by".

Is this the case or is it BS to make me buy newer..?

Would you insure a car only 3rd party over here..?

You should get fully comp without a problem from the insurance guys at the Tasjeel centre in Barsha.

The bigger insurance brands like AXA and RSA won't insure you but the smaller ones will.

i second tasjeel for insurance, they are cheap and got really infuriated the other day when they couldn't better a mate's quote from RSA. ten mins on the phone to RSA and they beat it by 10%.

also try insurancemarket.ae to save running around.

and yes i would drive 3rd party here. the trick is not crashing.
