What low numbers have you seen?

Since being here I have spotted:
'2' on a blue G Wagon
12 on a F12, the first f12 I have seen.
13 on a cayenne.

Any others spotted?

1 on sheikh mo's merc slr. I was actually handed the keys by a very inept concierge!

4 was in my old apt block, quite a few 2 and 3 3 digit Plates in current one.

458 on a 458, 911 on. 911 is ok by me, as is 12345 etc. But the price people pay for a random 3 or 4 digit plate is just ludicrous.

Agreed.

Wonder what the single digit plates would set you back?

I imagine all the single and double digits without an alphabet prefix (and a fair with with) are all royalty.

I did meet an expat with a 2 digit plate but it'd been in his family for years.

11 on Sheikh Hamdan's G Wagon, Dubai A1 is local to me.

1 on Sheikh Mo's car and also 11 on Hamdan's car aren't actually Dubai plates - they're UAE plates which is Fujairah.

Well weirdly just driven along side '2' on a white 911 GT2RS on SZ road. (In a nice convoy of a gallardo and a 599GTO)

The second '2' I have seen today!

Guess one of them could be Fujairah or similar as suggested earlier.

When I was registering my car at RTA a few weeks ago, a guy was getting his plates done. It was a Dubai number> F-40. I truly assume that he actually has a F40 at home.

By the way, I saw a R registered Range Rover recently. Somebody told me that certain alphabets are reserved for the ruling family. R one of them?

Sorry, but why would the ruler of Dubai and the crown prince of Dubai be driving cars with Fujairah plates on them?!

They're Dubai plates - just without the accompanying letter with the number. When you're the big cheese you can have what you want:

And you can run the same number on more than one car:

There is actually a fleet of G55 AMGs running the Dubai 1 number.

Mo, has 7 G's with number 1 on.

They are not 55's tho if the rumours are true, all the 7.whatever the Zonda has.

My mate did plate spotting for ages, has a spreadsheet with the notables (single and double)

I love spotting the decent plates here, there were dozens at the boat show last weekend.

A colleague has 68 on his SRT-8, he's not royalty but he bought the plate a while ago.
My boss has a couple of triple digit plates on his cars
I had a private plate on a vehicle I had previously - L 32355 I have no idea what makes it special, but it's apparently worth 2k AED so I kept it when I sold the car.

I've lost count of the number of singles I've seen, from all the different Emirates, maybe we should start a Schmee style photo thread!

Haha, genuinely not me, I used to send him spots though. I will ask if he still has a copy he had lots of singles and doubles and what they were attached to.
