Hi all,

I used to pay my fines quite happily on the AD Police website...but they've now changed it, and you have to log into the eGovernment Portal, My Abu Dhabi!

So I've registered, but when I ask it to pay fines it asks me for 3 things:

National Number
Traffic Profile Number
Unified ID

And it also says:

"You need to verify your traffic profile, by subimiting your National number(Emirates ID), traffic profile number(vehicle registration card) and your unified ID( your passport or risidence)"

So, the first I thought must be the ID Number on my ID card. The second will presumably be the T C Number on my car registration card and the final one is the UID on my Residence Permit.

However, it keeps telling me it's incorrect.

So I'm pretty sure the Unified ID is correct as that's called the same thing on the RP. And Traffic Profile...that's got to be the T C No on the car reg card. But my ID card has an ID Number (not a national number!) which has hyphens in it, and the page won't let me input hyphens (key doesn't work)...so I am wrong with that one?

I just wondered if any of you guys had done this and I'm making the wrong assumptions!

Cheers,
J.

I also got stuck in this stupid loop.

I needed to pay the fines before annual registration.

In the end I just paid when I did the registration.

If you're near Mushriff Mall it's right opposite.

Unless, like me, you have a number of violations that require you to go in person to the offended party, such as I did yesterday with a 6:30am journey to Ajman & Umm Al Quawain to clear a couple of fines - got zapped doing 240kph frown

AED 4k for the Ajman one as I had to pay rather a lot to stop the car being impounded. The guy in UAQ felt sorry for me so waived the impounding fee and I paid AED 610 for that.

I wasn't in a happy place yesterday to say that least.
