its popular, no frills but very good booze selection and proper beer. waitresses a bit ropy but they wear cutoff denim shorts. its the happy hour though that edges it past nell gwynn to become my new local.

from jlt station its 5 mins. out marina side, down the escalator and walk towards jebel ali. take 1st bridge over to jbr, straight at the lights and it's on the left.

as you near their valet parking bit you'll see a staircase which goes straight up to the bar.

Cool bananas - if we can make it for 6pm onwards I'm in. I live on SZR on the Dusit/Emirates Towers stretch so to go home, then all the way back will not be appealing given the Thursday traffic and my general knackardness at the end of the week.
