Any idea if there is a service in Dubai similar to Chipsaway? Left the car next to bit of waste ground over the weekend and it looks as though some twunt has either thrown a dirty great rock at my door or one has been kicked up by a passing car.

I have seen a board/advert/stand outside Yellow Hat in Times Square mall which professes to do this type of thing. I haven't tried them, but judging by the state of some cars I see, I will more than likely need their services at some point!

I might be popping by that mall tonight, so will take down their detais if I see them/remember!

Think that would be Dentmaster (CALL : 800 DENT (3368)). If memory serves AED600 per panel irrespective of the number of dings (stand corrected)

I take it the paintwork has not been damaged?

there's also pro dent: http://www.prodent.ae/

the latter sorted my hire car wingding and saved me a hefty excess.

If its a nice car and you want to get an excellent job done then go to Polimar in Al Quoz. They are the best paint repar shop by a million miles.

I have been to them many times and their work is second to none. More recently some weapon drive into the back of my 911 just 2 mins after I had taken a deposit for the car to sell it. I took it to them and they fixed the existing moulded bumper even though it had been creased. I consider myself pretty anal when it comes to inspecting paintwork and I tell you...it was spotless, like new.

It will cost you more with Polimar, but if its a decent car then I strongly recommend them. If not, and its the wife's pajero or something then yes, Dentmaster all day long.

Sorry meant to say thanks for all of the replies. May give Will a call first and see what he has to say, looks like a bugger of a job to do so if in any doubt will give Polimar a call.

Ouch, thats deep. Its like something really hoofed into that. Best of luck. I think Polimar will stripe you for anywhere from 900 to 1,400 aed. The likes of dentmaster probably 300-500 I would say.

Interesting you should say that, just had a call from a helpful guy at Dentmaster, after i emailed them some pics. Their quote for the dents and to correct the paint...1500Dhs. Will wait and see what Prodent say but Polimar are sounding more and more likely.

A full high high quality respray costs around AED 5k. A panel costs around 600 AED. There are some exceptional paint shops in UAE and they usually are quick to turn things around.

The main benefit of dentmaster is that it is quicker and more convenient as they come to you and if the paint is not broken then it keeps the car paint original but the prices are broadly comparable with a proper bodyshop (and in this case alot more expensive!) You could also try Smartech in Al Quoz

Looking at that id suggest a body shop im afraid.

Dentmaster will improve it but they wouldnt get that back to anywhere near 100% as that is way way in.
