Any recommendations for serviced hotel apartments on Sheikh Zayed Road?

Doesn't need to be anything too swanky or sizable. A one-bed would be perfect. Preferably on the Satwa side rather than the DIFC side.

Cheers! smile

I stayed in the Four Points by Sheraton for 18 months, it was a nice pad, very friendly staff, room service is good and there is a nice pool on the roof top………no idea on price as it was on the companies $$. If possible get a beach facing apartment, less noise from SZrd and an amazing sunset view every evening!

Sounds nice Sam! But I suspect it'll be towards the opposite end of the budget. It'll be on a monthly basis, at least for one month, maybe two, no more than three.

Yeah, I'd thought about this one. Any reports/experiences to share?

I'm moving out at the start of the year but I don't think my new place will be ready for a few weeks.

I stayed in here for a few days...

Probabaly past its best but perfectly liveable.. The studio apartment I was in was very reasonable cost.

(It has Coldstone, Starbucks and Tim Hortons in bottom)

Good luck

I stayed there for a couple of weeks when I moved out here in 2007.

I recall the internet being very slow there at the time. Otherwise no complaints.

all our guys on rotation used to stay at the chelsea towers but the price went up so they were moved to the auris metro central in tecom. they much prefer the latter.

ETA - a straw poll reveals the chelsea is much nicer and more spacious, with better facilities. auris is preferred only as it's spitting distance to the crown and lion and they are a bunch of alcoholic pervs.

Thanks for all of the replies, guys. I'll make some calls and see if I can get some quotes.

That's good feedback, thanks! I'm keen to live a little bit nearer to work (in Jumeira) so I'll probably avoid the apartments in Tecom.

Mate, the Gloria Hotel in Dubai Media City (But right on the Sheikh Zayed Road) is excellent. Loads of mates and work colleagues stay there. It says Hotel, but in fact its serviced apartments in a decent part of town. Its around 130 GBP...or around 650aed a night I think. Highly recommended.

Thanks guys. I'm expecting to pick up the keys on 31st December so hopefully this won't now be necessary. Thanks for the recommendations.
