So we have round no. 2 for the touring cars, radicals and the bikes this Friday. I will be found in garage 2a looking after the usual Triumph 675.

So if the family is bored pop on round and say hello.

Sadly it's also the Dubai International Rally this weekend, so I'll be found chewing on sand in the desert somewhere.... best of luck for your weekend.

Add to that the first round of the DriftUAE Championship at Yas plus the biggest National Day event Dubai has seen!

I just don't know what to do with myself!

Two exams, a major bid due in tomorrow and two days on a course this week mean that I will be getting my drink on in a major fashion at the 7s.

Moving up to Dubai tomorrow and will be on my lonesome and looking for accommodation at motor city. If you see a lost fat westerner wandering around it'll be me.

I also live in MotorCity which is dam handy given the amount of time I spend at the autodrome (the OH thinks I should just move into one of the pit garages and be done with it!)

A mate pointed it out to me as a nice place to live that's not to far from work, he never mentioned the track. As soon as I saw that there is no chance ill be looking elsewhere.

What self respecting PHer wouldn't want to live next to a race track?

Another motor city resident here. It suits us fine- and it's far enough out of town to stop people like shirt turning up and drinking your gin all of the time.

Given the rally, the racing and the 7's, my wife has booked tickets to the sodding theatre.

I shall be 'having a beer' directly after the matinee performance.

Got the circuit at 7am, did laps of the circuit with the race director to check the ciruit conditions, polished the bike and then packed everything away. So a real fun day. Still could have been worse, could have gotten wet at the rugby......
