If you can prove DXB residence with a Tenancy contract and DEWA bills then you can register in DXB.

Mine are all in company name so needed a letter from them also to state that they rented it for me.

Otherwise you need to register it in AUH.

As Oily has said - apart from the usual gubbins you will need a copy of your current Tenancy Contract you will need a DEWA Bill.

The DEWA Bill cannot be one that you have downloaded and printed, it has to be an original. If it is a downloaded and printed one then you will need to go to DEWA and get it stamped.

I have however got away with a downloaded and printed one in the past, but it was touch and go.

It was a dodge Magnum or Elan but it depends if i go for dans clubbie so it is either practical and impractical combo or a unpractical unpractical combo.

I sold a car earlier in the year to a Brit, living in DXB but working in AUD.

Because he was here on an AUD visa, he was not allowed to register the car here in DXB, we had to de-register it, get export plates, drive to AUD where he had to re-register it..... he had tenancy in his name etc etc but the RTA at Barsha said "No"

I only recently bought "Megan" and I had no issues. I have 3 cars registered on DXB plates with an AUH Visa.
