Going to be on a car hunt soon

Hi all
Will be moving to Dubai with work in the new year and the most pressing thing for me is "what car do I get"? Well the question is probably more "rent or buy"?

Could probably drop 80k aed on a car or is it better to lease one. Will probably be over for 2-3 years so trying not to get tied into some kind of contract or are they easy to get out of? I've heard buying / selling privately is a nightmare but sure you'll set me straight as to wether that is the case.

Any advice much appreciated as I switched spending half my time on the PH classifieds to whiling hours away on dubizzle!

wholly depends on where you'll be living and working and what type of driving you want to do. fancy hitting the dunes? an uberbarge, or a daily driver/occasional trackday kind of car.

80k is a healthy budget. a mate bought a very low mile c6 corvette for less than that recently.
