Anybody else drive through it or sit on their balcony's watching it?

Experienced it at around 05:20 near Green Community Ra on Emirates Road - proper rain, windscreen wipers going, all for a period of about 90 seconds, but felt good!

Proper rain for about 20 minutes in Springs at 05:40 or so, I got up and went outside with my brolly, was just like being at home.
Of course Emirates Hills road was completely flooded on my way to work and the Corvette isn't too good at wading but I made it through!

Only the second time in the 2 years I've been here that we've had rain, no thunder this time though.

Didnt see it unfortunately, just the aftermath of finding the balcony covered in water and large puddles everywhere on the drive in this morning.

I can confirm a Tiida can be got completely sideways in the wet, for quite some length of time!!

Huge queue leaving jafza at lunch, all so they could file in single lane past a huge puddle.

dhead here drops a gear and floors it through the middle. Very impressive waves made to each side and......

....Straight over the top of the car. The roof's still off so i got completely soaked.

Play it cool trig, play it cool....

I noticed that the barrier on the main entrance to the Ranches had been freshly dinged by someone with a poor grasp of physics this morning!
