Oman - things to do in Muscat

Hi PHers

Currently in Muscat on hols and thinking about going into the city to see Skyfall at the MGM City Cinema, but whilst in the city I thought I'd ask for nplaces to eat, see, shop and do whatever you think the OH (another PHer) and I should consider doing.

Also i see that ther cinema has a GOLD class seating with wjhat sounds like lazyboy seats and a smaller screen - is it worth it or are the stasndard screens as full size and less comfy chairs worth it?
