Hi Everyone.

Just putting a feeler out if any of you with race cars would be interested in taking part in a World Endurance Championship support race at Bahrain International Circuit on the 27th to the 29th of September. there is a chance of an All Comers Class being added to the schedule pending interest from drivers.

Obviously you will need a race license and the car must meet FIA Safety requirements, its open for saloon cars so no Radicals or Caterhams etc. But if you have a Clio cup, GT car, Seat leon, Civic, Scooby, Evo etc then please get in touch. you can contact me direct on +973 3838 1768 or email g.halls@bic.com.bh

Many thanks

Hi, Gavin is it?

May not be much help but perhaps try getting in touch with the Bahrain Supercar Club?

Ps. Great to see someone else in BAH! Getting tired of seeing all posts in Dubai...

Make your own fun, I've just bought a gopro and fully intend on testing if the claims it will stick on speeds upto 200mph are true hehe

If you put on the inside of your windscreen, it sticks no matter what speed you do! hahahahaha If you intend to stick it on the outside, please make sure you wet the area first, dry it them stick it. Mine stays solid at 210km/h

Hahahahahahaha and when you do, make sure you change the settings on the GoPro for "upside down" recording.

I'm going to try several different positions, then do "a run" several times over the same area and try stitch them together. I'm in geek heaven with my new toy! biggrin

Opening up the 24 hours to all commers ?
If so and depending if we have our car back from Spain / Holland then I expect we would be more than up for it.

24 hrs would be nice but unfortuantely not! they are discussing opening up the support races for Allcomers, they will only be 30 minute long races, I'm not sure how many yet, but would guess it to be 2 x 30 minute races plus practice and qaulifying sessions
