Hi all...need to get my wheels cleaned properly...but noone I've spoken to in Ab Dabs seems to know about acid cleaners for wheels. Deciding to just do it myself, I can't find WonderWheels or anything like it out here...any one know what the UAE equivalent is?

Cheers,
J.

The one is time square has closed and no idea on what brands they have. Just know they always seemed to have a variety of products for sale.

As useful as tits on a bull I know, sorry!

Hi mate...thanks...I actually went over to Time Square (before reading this!) to find that yellow hat had closed and been replaced by a fantastic adventure sports shop, complete with climbing wall smile

Oh and Yellow Hat is re-opened upstairs!

And I found the wheel cleaner stuff...it was an F1 brand...contained acid and not just detergent like all the other useless ones!

Cheers all,

J.

My wheels are anodisied aluminium, so you can't use any acids on them. A local so called Porsche specialist cleaned then for me when my car was having some work done, needless to say they messed up the wheels and returned the car with big streaks on them. grrrr

cue a few hours with me polishing the streaks out where the acids had eaten into the anodisied coating.

Now it is just a clean with car shampoo then rub vaseline into the wheels, works a treat.
