I';m not sure there is any news on that. The last I heard were that some members of his family were here to help with the investigation. Very strange that one. I guess he's either in the sand or in the creek. If he was anywhere else surely he'd have been found by now?
Very sad.
Yup, something is defo not right about it. It is a sad shame that they are unable to find him.Very sad.
Will be interesting to see the fallout from the boat, Chief of Police already quoted as saying that they never received a warning on the boat, US Navy saying the opposite.
re the sailor there has been lots of noise about how hard they are looking, the only thing they had not stated is what the result of the conversation was with the taxi driver that was supposed to take him to Port Rashid. Lots more to that case that we will never hear about I reckon.

I thought the same thing about putting a rounds of 50 cal across the bow, surely not even fishermen are stupid enough to miss that.
On the British sailor check this out, some interesting info

A bit off topic - but did anybody find out what happened to that sailor that went missing in DXB?
My mate is the weapons officer on that boat, I had dinner with him at the Westn a couple of days after the event and he told me the full story.I reckoned then, and still do now, that he made it to Port Rashid and fell in whilst pissed.
