My car has developed an awful creak from the front suspension. Rather than take it back to the useless bds at Habtoors, could anyone recommend a decent, honest, reliable mechanic, who doesn't charge the earth, to look at it?

Also looking for an auto electrician who can take out the stupid sub and amp which has been wired in.

Car is a 2009 Pajero SWB by the way.

Cheers, but care to elaborate? Where's her workshop? Are they open today?

'Gaffer' is Claire - person to contact at Saluki Motorsport, independent workshop behind Times Square Centre in Al Qoz. They are open today (and every Saturday), and will sort out your suspension for sure. Decent prices, honest advice, really capable mechanics. Really good people to deal with.

For 4x4's I have always used AAA Service Centre. They have been good over the years and in some cases will fabricate parts very cheaply for you. They are off Umm Suqueim St. Behined the petrol station on the SZR where you get the car registered. Road behines. Big blu sign, you cant miss it. AAA Service centres number is on 181. I recommend them for anyone with a 4x4.

I have also heard very good things about Saluki Motorsport.
