Anyone up for shooting?

12 bores on skeet, dtl or sporting, or indeed pistols at any range you like up to 25metres with either a .22 semi, .22 revolver or a 9mm semi auto.

I had a wonderful afternoon blasting away for a couple of hours on Friday.

I know Phil is keen (as i mentioned beer afterwards)....anyone else???

(fully expect the answer to be no, but no harm in asking).

Oh, there will of course be beer afterwards.

Erm, shooting? I'd love to. Chances are I'd end up doing a Micheal Douglas and going crazy-ape along the SZR...but heck, I'm game! Is this at Jebal Ali?

I went to Jebel Ali, yes, but understand there is another club in Sharjah (which may or may not have an AK-47, depending on who you believe)

I'd be well up for that - my wife and daughter left for the summer this morning so I'm looking for ways to make the next two months a bit more 'Hangover' than my usual annual bonding session with the pizza delivery guy and the cat.

i am in, been wanting to go shoot clays for ages now.

i'm not here next week though and have got a 24hr flying visit to bangladesh to fit in this week. should be here friday and saturday if they're any good?

My wife goes back to Oz on the 12th, so beers with phil on the evening of the 12th..............Jebel Ali doesn't open until 4 so a good recovery morning is possible prior to shooting!!

Mrs T is scarily good with a 9mm considering it was the first time she had ever held a gun. I am going to move the sofa further from the sink just in case.

In all honesty I'll probably have to sit this time out as I'm back from the UK on the 8th but fly out again on the 9th for 2 weeks.

Defniately up for it if you go again though.

The Officers Club in AUH is pretty good for pistols - the onsite bar helps too!

Totally misread the title.

Anyways. So when are we shooting at things..?

Must remember to bring my specs so I will actually be able to see the target involved and not what I think is the target.

Right.

I finally have a day off looming, and will be shooting at various things on saturday afternoon.

I already know that my good friend Phil will be joining me (good friend as in turns up at 11pm, drinks my beer and orders a pizza that at best gives severe abdominal pain, at worst resembles a load of old shoes falling through a loft hatch during bouts of arse gravy)

I shall be doing a round on the sporting layout, followed by the pistol range for .22 and no doubt 9mm, and then quite a few rounds in a bar somewhere.
