Hi All,

Not been on here for a while. Hope you're all OK.

Was after opinions on a value for my car, as I'm thinking of changing.

It's a 2010 Camaro SS 6.2. I bought it from Al Ghandi, delivered in February 2010. It's done 70,000km and is absolutely standard, with a full service history. I'm thinking of advertising it for 115,000dhs, and hoping to get 105-110k. Realistic? There's lots of them advertised on Dubizzle with a huge range of prices!!

Cheers all,

J.

I reckon thats about right.

I take it the car has no warranty or service contract?

Hi Yorky...thanks smile

There's no service contract, but it does have the remaining 5 year/100,000km drive train warranty. The 3 year/60,000km 'everything else' warranty has of course now expired.

I think there's a big gap between GCC and US spec Camaros on Dubizzle - as is for Mustangs.

No offence, but the interior on these cars are pants - just god-damn aweful.

It's really annoying isn't it? Look at that car. It'd gorgeous. The perfect colour too. Even the seats are the perfect colour....but the dash and the controls? They let it down for me.

Sorry mate, I don't mean to be picky!

LOL smile Just as well I always close my eyes whenever I get in and drive!! You're not wrong though...one of the things I'm most looking forward to with whatever new car I end up with is a quality interior. Trouble is, that almost certainly means that the exterior won't be anything like as interesting!

Cheers all,

J.

Full test. I'm not keen on the looks but if it was RHD I would probably forgive that and have an auto one.

Only in Britain of course do you have to have LHD for £35K or pay £50K for RHD, essentially the same driving experience in a VXR8 or Maloo.

why auto?

i've only driven the v6 but it felt like a very heavy car and ride/handling equivalent to a 4dr exec saloon. the additional 2 cylinders would need to bring a lot to the party to make it worthwhile.
