It's a scary precedent but not one I can imagine many (if any) countries replicating - how many countries have a debt problem that can afford to pay off all debts under 5m?

If the government can't look after it's own money, how can you properly educate the people to?

They are all st scared of getting caught up in the "Arab Spring". The number of new "Emirati Housing" developments going on here in AUH is silly.
