Trying to find a shovel for a ground breaking event - a Chrome jobbie.

It's not seeming easy to source - any ideas chaps?

Need it for Sunday unfortunately - client, after having said they would organise and obvioiusly can't find one, have asked my guys to find one. They can't find one so have asked me!

But a normal shovel and get it wrapped? will look fine until you "break ground" with it!

Spray Paint a normal one with a coat of gloss/lacquer on top..?

Thought about that as well - its going to be kept and mounted in a display case one done so needs to be proper - Top Royal VIP doing the GB.

i'd have thought the garden centre or ace would have a shovel with a chromed head, i know b&q sell them.

sure i'e seen 4x4's with chrome sand shovels as well.

Good shoiut on the chrome plating - we've looked into that and it doesn't seem too expensive.

I'm going to have a look at these places as a matter of course but I can't ever remember seeing the proper bling chrome ones.

What about spraying one 'Gold'?
