villa share wanted
Discussion
been in dub a year this week and finding the current flat not too ideal for my situation, amazing tho this place is, i need more space for cars and working on them.
looking for a villa share in either springs/meadows, barsha, al sufouh, jumeirah 3 areas. or anywhere if they have an air-conditioned garage!
saw two earlier - one with a double garage in jumeirah 3 but they neglected to tell me the room had already been let out, and another in springs 9 which was nice but i think 4 cats [yes cats] is slightly OTT in a 3 bed villa.
if you know of anyone looking, please shout up. ideally looking to save a bit of cash so was hoping for 4k max inc bills.

Showed it you you ar our place over a curry and a beer- the one asking for 'free spirited individuals who join in with the group' whose interests were 'being outisde, being inside, making friends' And probably 'indulging in numerous depraved acts with strangers'
Chilli?villas with garages tend to be 5/6 bed mcmansion types and are expensive to rent and run [just the monthly outlay in bills would be enough for rent on a nice 1 bed flat].
a lot of 2/3 beds have a car port, and rich gets by with his for tinkering on his mgb. only issue is the summer heat.
there seems to be a growing no. of people on the local forums looking to group together and rent an industrial unit for car storage/tinkering. costs look attractive [£500-1000 per person per annum] but needs organising.
i reckon i could actually live happily in a lockup with a mezzanine floor, wonder what the authorities' take on that would be??

Would that mean that Rose could have her parking space back??
Only joking mate- her car doesnt deserve a space. Anywhere on the planet.
was up at yours last night measuring fuel pipes. lights weren't on so i thought either babymaking or pipe/slipper/early night. either way thought i'd not disturb. hopefully back tomorrow to put everything back together. bit pissed off tbh as looks like the last GP circuit trackday at Yas on friday and i am going to miss it Only joking mate- her car doesnt deserve a space. Anywhere on the planet.

Not always mate. I have a 5 bed villa with a car port thing, and it's not too expensive. Sure DEWA relieve me of up tp 3 k a month, but ask Oilydan about his bills!!!a lot of 2/3 beds have a car port, and rich gets by with his for tinkering on his mgb. only issue is the summer heat.

Seriously, you can get a 1000sq ft warehouse for 70k a year, right up your alley, you could hold private parties and stuff......bikini parties specifically.

i would be seriosuly interested in a lock up, but aren't there laws against it to stop asian workers sleeping on pallets stacked 6 high and rotated in shifts?
this with a mezzanine bed deck please
To rent a warehouse, you're gonna need a local partner / someone with a relevant trade license to be able to get one.
And no - you're not going to be able to live in it. The authorities wouldn't look too kindly on that - shame though, you could make some epic loft-style apartments out of plenty of commercial space in Dubai.

Including maids house, drivers house and my house I have 10 bedrooms in Barsha (could be 13 if you used the kids playroom/study/dogs quarters) with pool for 195k. No enclosed garage but Landlord would be fine to put sheet metal around the carport and fit an A/C.
My bills did dip into 6-8k per month last year but we had water leaks, pool pump running 24/7. Fixed the leak and knocked the pool back to 4 hours per day and back into a healthy 1-2k per month. Will be 4k once the heat comes....
