Fell asleep on the sofa last night (waiting for the Motogp) with a large glass of red in hand....woke up when the race was over and the red was all over my stomach/legs and sofa. Took the dogs out and thought I'd watch the conclusion to the Masters on the tely....woke up when that was al over too....must stop drinking.

Go to the driving range?

I am sat at Tasjeel waiting to renew my now finance free car, can't work out who looks more bored, me or the locals manning the counter.

How much you reckon they get paid?

Got a gym upstairs and have been going....well, not today obviously, as I'm still aching like you wouldn't believe from the previous sessions!

Bored ? Same here. Arrived in Abu Dhabi at 2 this morning, having had an engine failure leaving Amsterdam, so delayed by 4 hours. Got to the hotel about 3, and decided to grab some Zzzz's.

4 hours later, up showered, dressed and ready for my meeting to be told "not today", tomorrow is better.
Went downstairs to the pub, for a Steak and guiness pie and a couple of pints, back to my room, little snooze, then another email from the client saying not 10 am, make it 11.30.

So will have been here for over half of my planned trip without doing anything.

Exec. lounge opens at 6 I think, so in there for a few freebies during cocktail hour, then back to the pub to see wha tthe clientelle is like, but not a patch on 49'ers I've heard.
