does anyone have any?

a mate of mine is organising a golf tournament in iran as an extension of the one he runs in north korea. surprisingly, a few people have pulled out recently [!] and he wants to drum up a bit of PR in the gulf. i've given him links to gulf news / sport 360 and timeout contact pages, but just wondered if anyone who works in that field?

just a story or feature to appeal to golfers with money. for north korea he was on sky news, sky sports, bbc, cnn etc.

Ok, slightly more heavyweight than my guys who are targeted b2b types like mediaME, Euromonitor etc!

the korea thing was a big deal due to the closed nature of the country. he's doing all sorts there now.

iran will be less of a media storm, but he just wants to get in touch with a sport or golf writer who can get a piece in gulf news, sport 360 etc.

The CEO of Sport360 is a young ambitious guy, Michael Chalhoub. I think this kind of thing what appeal to him and he is at a level where he can make things happen both commercially and editorially if you hit it off.
