Hi guys

I want to get a bluetooth device (Parrot or other) fitted to my wife's car so she can make and receive calls safely whilst driving.

Can anyone recommend a place that is good at this kind of thing? I want a very clean install that integrates with the steering wheel controls and looks fairly discreet.

Cheers

P.S. It seems like al my threads are about finding a place that does xyz... just wanted to say that I do actually get this stuff done ;-) Robbie at Saluki just fitted a very nice towbar to my 3-series so I'll be out in the desert with the bike this weekend! Still haven't got the trailer sand-blasted though.

NSV..? round the corner from us.
Ask for Laurie, and whilst you are speaking to him, gently remind him I am waiting on an answer please..!

If they don't do it, they very well may know someone who does.

Claire

PS..how is the tow-hook..?

Some GPS have built in bluetooth (some Garmins for sure). Then the wife can ring you and say how to I get to so and so, and we can say use your GPS. 2 birds one stone and all that.....

All goes pear shaped when the wife leaves the GPS at home, not that mine has ever done that..........more then half a dozen times!

Is the sound quality any good with those? I tend to find that if it's good I use it all the time, but if it's not I never bother.

Ok, I'll drop by NSV at the weekend.

The tow-hook is working out very well although the weather at the weekend scuppered my plans for some desert action. Stupidly I didn't check the size of the trailer hitch and ended up needing a new, smaller, ball.

Decent idea but I already have a nav unit and don't fancy buying another one just to get the bluetooth.

Sound quality is not bad actually as I can hear what the wife is saying.......

Afraid I didn't. My wife has quit her job (without another one yet...) so frivolous expenditure has been put on hold for now. Only essentials like upgrades for my bike are allowed ;-)
