Well after dropping the wife off at the airport this morning I remembered that BMW were launching the 2012 1000 S at the autodrome.

After blagging all the riding kit I managed to squeeze in 3 laps. Now it has been some time I last road a motorbike but man was that thing fast. Endless drive from very low down, chickened out at 10,000 rpm (goes onto 14,500), slipper clutch for those quick down the box changes. What a rush.

Let the bike buying dithering begin.........

Watched the Muppet movie at the cinema, went to the Library and a ballet lesson (not me you 'tards). Now drinking beer and watching Walking Dead. Sorted.

lazed about and caught up on sleep after working daft hours all week! the bmw looks alike a lot of fun!

did the track day on the GP circuit friday in the midst of the sandstorm. that was, erm, interesting - especially with the gulf ferraris and the radicals buzzing about!

Non-sodding existant..... couldn't see a great deal and couldn't get out of the car without getting shotblasted.
That said, the Jeep came back under its own power and not on a recovery truck so all in all it was a success!!

how was the track?
