at risk of sounding a bit ghey....
any of you lads either single or willing to pretend you are? i'm going to lunch on friday with a group of single women and am tasked with bringing 2 x single guys with me who are, i quote, up for a bit of fun.
i have never met these women before [they are friends of my flatmate who has invited me] so cannot comment for quality sadly. lunch will be bussola with prob a party at mine after as friday is dry from 6pm.
maybe an opportunity for you new boys

Do i assume that thursday beers are now off then- or do you intend to simply srink straight through the whole weekend (like a quality drinking northener might?)
I will expect a full and detailed report on the weekends proceedings, as i am working this weekend (what a shock) and fully expect you to be comatose by 5pm, and- most likely- clinging to a plantpot in a quiet corner somewhere.

i have no idea what they look like, haven't met any of them before. either they're cute or i drink until they are. my flat mate knows them, he does have good taste in women, they invited him on the proviso he brings single blokes to even the numbers, but he doesn't know that many who are. at the last lunch i went to with him there were a few very lovely ladies, one of whom ended up walking round our flat in her underwear.
geoff, i seem to recall you are single so you're very welcome to come along.
