Where would be the best place to advertise supercars for sale in the UAE? I know there is a huge market for rare sports and supercars in the UAE, but how/where would you advertise them in order to hit the wealthiest possible audience? Replies and/or advice appreciated.

Cal, is that you? smile

To access the VVIP market probably wouldn't necessarily mean advertising them publicly, would guess one of the better known dealers have the 100 or so phone numbers/email addresses you'd want.

Can I ask why you want to know?

No, not Cal sorry. Reason is, I have a small collection of very sought after and rare cars and am considering liquidating these now in order to invest in a new business venture. I just thought the middle east market might be the way to go in order to maximise the return. Thanks for your reply and any other advice you feel like providing.

Not being Cal is a good thing, believe me.

For high end dealers start with

There is a guy that operates out of Abu Dhabi as well, forget his name, will try and look it up for you.

Surely HK etc would be worth a look as well, they are RHD buyers aren't they?

The likes of you and I, yes, RHD is a no go.

Dependent on how rare and therefore desirable they are, should the right people want them they will get registered without issue, can't see them knocking back them back at Tasjeel wink

This company has been advertising on Qatar Sale for the last couple of months:

If they actually have access to all of these cars, it would amount to probably one of best collections around. They have some stunning motors on their page for sale but they're oviously just being offered for sale for clients.

How special are we talking about? Are we talking D type Jags and gullwing Mercs, or are we talking modern Lambos and Ferraris? If the former, drop me a PM and I'll put you in touch with someone who specialises.

That is Cal!

Note the 'Refined Marques' sub heading, think we established that all wasn't quite right with that operation a few weeks ago

Thank you for your responses everybody. Claire, thanks, it never occured to me that RHD might be an issue over there. I think I'll take the above advice and seek collectors in HK and Japan maybe. Claire, Candy is being missed within the TVR community! Does she still have the original Team Dynamics forged wheels? Love those. A small consortium of Sag owners were trying to talk TD into manufacturing some more but re-tooling for minor numbers was not financially viable for most. Makes Candy all the more "special" I guess. Anyway, you know where I am if you ever decide it's time to let go. I know you two have history, but I'm here should you ever consider it. Thanks again everybody!

Depending on the car, might be worth speaking to someone like Dion at Elms Collection. I know he handles consignment sales for many HNW clients...
