Or at least you'd think so by the way this lot drive.

Best one today was a Raptor (yes the special lifted off-road edition of the F150) who was gingerly steering around a 0.5" deep puddle.

My car on the other hand started off white, and is now a distinct shade of grey biggrin

You mean someone was driving WITH due care and attention?!?!

Probably pissed!

Although I have seen a Pajero, nose down, in water up to the top of it's windscreen after the owner drove through what they thought was a puddle on a slip road off Al Wasl.

There was the taxi on the Palm as well, let me see if I can find the photo.

Edit - here is the puppy!

Saw something similar on the way home last night. The sprinklers had been on and half the road was wet. Cue everyone nearly causing a massive pile-up as they swerved out of the way.

coming home tonight into the marina southbound on szr, i was greeted by a traffic jam stretching back to where you come off after hess a street. the cause of the jam? a puddle! must have been all of 3inch deep and traffic was going through single file at less than walking pace. absolutely unbelievable!

I'm always a little cautious of puddles when I can't see the source - there's an awful lot of dodgy drains here and nobody likes a car that smells of piss.

i have learned my lesson.

marina petrol station about lunchtime today - SZR south. coming out of the pumps there's a big puddle on the brickwork. i roar through it, round the corner and...........

woooooooooaaaaaaaaaaah!

........ then gather everything up with an armful of oppo and a 4 wheel drift. definitely did NOT expect that to happen!
