Registering a consultancy...any ideas?!

I need to register/open a consultancy so that I can invoice etc. Does anyone know the process and how long it would take?

Try Fujairah or RAK free zones. There's a company called Creative Zone based in the Fairmont (and also somewhere Downtown I believe) who cover Fujairah. RAK have a govt office in the Fairmont as well.

Pretty expensive - can be around 20-30k to set something up. Creative Zone have got the process down to a week from application to issue of company docs. Getting a residence visa takes a lot longer and is subject to the usual govt bureaucracy.

Getting a company bank account will be a function of which bank you go to. They're all as bad as each other.
