Thinking about going. My office window overlooks part of the runway, but having never been to a show before, I quite fancied it. Anyone know if you can get up close and personal with the big planes?

AFAIK it's open to trade only - and the official website seems to back that up.

Quite why it's being advertised on primetime TV as an amazing event to attend is beyond me though.

If you're in the area anyway, you'll be able to enjoy the flying action every afternoon, but depending on how well you can blag that your company is involved in the aero industry will decide on if you get in.

And lastly, it's not free - $50 a ticket to get in. Although it does seem you can get up close with all the big planes etc

I was told it was open to both.
You can use my Libyan details if you want, from when I booked last year for my CEO.

my dad went when he was in town a few years back, so it must be open to the public.

i was supposed to be going as a guest of airbus, but my mate who was taking me has been called elsewhere. i've not got $50 worth of interest in attending.
