Need to hire 2 x 40ft Containers

Hi all,

As the title says - need to hire 2 x 40ft containers for around 30-40 days.

It's for onsite storage for an event I'm looking after. No one seems to hire, only want to sell and we have no further requirements for them once the event is over.

Anyone help or have any ideas?

Byrne only really like to hire out the equiped containers and we need boggo ones - we're using them for reserve power and ablution units so fr for the event.

A few places that have quoted are silly expensive, we might as buy but them but have no other requirement.

I still have a few places to try.

how much are they to rent? a 20' ISO is aboout $4500 to buy inc. full lloyds certification. i'll see if i can find anyone in the morning - will be at work at 7am

who's providing your event power?

Government dept providing power - only need 300kva.

You could try Specialist Services on Al Quoz I know they have a hire fleet for various bit and bobs. The guy I know there best is Dave Smith who is their BDM will PM you his mobile number. Tell him John Lynch said to get in touch (we are about to place a million $ on them so they should like us at the moment!

Been asking about this week but I can't find anyone that will rent other than those already suggested. I know we have basic 20ft containers that we rent out but they are specced as control rooms so would likely be too expensive.

As an aside, i did notice at the weekend that this topic included the 9,999th post [mine] and 10,000th post [yours] on the ME forum, which was nice.

No worries. Managed to find a company called Almar, part of Modern Freight, who can supply - reasonable price as well.
