Is there a munimum age? A freind secured a job but the visa application has been rejected due to him only being 18.
Any ideas?

Does he have a degree? I know that for people over 60 you reaaly need a degree to keep / get a residence visa.

I wouldn't have thought so, given he's 18! We could sponsor him till it's sorted though.

Re over 60's getting/extending a visa is no problem as long as you are prepared to pay the inevitable additional fee, which three years ago was 5,000 chips.

Not sure, but I think the min age is 21.

Also think some countries have a minimum age for thier citizens to come TO the UAE to work.
(But suspect that is not the case here.)
