i spent almost a full day in MOE, times square and dubai mall looking for a tv. i found harman house to be the cheapest, albeit with a limited range. they also had a deal where on purchase they give you a scratch card where you can win upto 30% of the purchase price back. i got 10% so my 46" samsung LED [5* rated by the various mags] was 3800.

if you just need something to watch landcruisers turn donuts, my mate just bought a 32" sony LCD from carrefour for 1300.

I wouldn't bother with a tely. I have about 2,300 channels, and apart from 2, they are all a load of old wnak.

Maybe but I need something to put on my wall and as Joey said - What do you point your furniture at..?

And I can play my movies through the TV rather than on the laptop & run Skype through there to have "chats" back home wink

I've always used plug ins as they price match and in most cases beat the price by a little bit.
