Visitors booked a one-way tickey. Is this ok?

We have visitors arriving and they have booked one-way tickets as they are staying for at least a year. Does anyone know if they will have issues at the airport re their tourist visa?

i imagine it would be ok. if they have the finances to stay a year, it follows they have enough for a return flight when they need one.

True, and they'll have our address to give to those happy chaps in immigration.

They shouldn't have any bother coming in - I originally arrived in Dubai on a one way ticket on a visit visa which was later upgraded to a residency visa.

The only issue they'll have is that they'll have to do visa runs to Oman and back / flights to Beirut etc every 2 months to keep them legal. AFAIK you can only extend at the Municipality office for an additional 30 days from when you land in the country.

Wouldn't that be classed as a flatmate, rather than a visitor?
