Took a trip to Al Aweer tonight, ostensibly to look for a 'Vette and a Grand Cherokee.....

All was going well until this came along

I've arranged a test drive for Saturday afternoon..... assuming that it drives fine, how do I arrange an inspection then.... do I just tell the vendor that I want to take it to the garage for an inspection?

They've told me that it's a US import that's already been road registered here if that makes any difference?

I just said I would obviously want a condition report prior to making an offer. Transport from sharjah to saluki was 300 return. Don't make an offer until you've had the inspection.

Everyone else: I think I called shotgun first!

Chris re-built his own Viper from a ex race car from europe. The NFS one is a mean race car and the spec is something else.

Well thanks to having to work yesterday I didn't get to go for the test drive, it's the Italian GP today, so I won't be test driving today either.... hopefully I'll manage to get up there on Monday, but I think sorting it for Tuesday is probably out!

Also want to wait for the details on the "customer's car" mentioned above as well.

Watching it at my place up in Springs, I subscribed to the Abu Dhabi sports package, so have the full English commentary.
