Hi guys,

I want to find out more about alloy wheel refirbishment in Dubai. Are there any companies specialising in alloy wheel refurbs?

In the UK there are people who strip down, repair any damage, etc prime and paint the entire wheel in colour of your choosing, then laquer and oven bake to give a very good and durable finish. Are there any companies in the UAE offering a similar service, or it is just bodyshops painting wheels as well as panels?

I've got some wheels I need to get done at some stage, OEM 19s for a 911, so not looking for a cheap and nasty job. Currently silver and looking to go glossy black. bounce

Thanks

Ah...I had a Range Rover 2 years ago which went in to Sara for a detail after the reviews on Evolve.ae and when it came back the electric mirrors would not fold in. Al Tayer diagnosed the fault to someone forcefully folding the mirrors and wanted 3k to replace. No thanks. I use it every night when parking in my bay but Sara disclaimed all liability.

Pity, the polish was not bad... thanks anyway!

I had the Ducati wheels done at SARA for a thousand Dirhams. Not too happy with the result as there was a couple of runs.

Does anyone know if I'll need a police report to get an alloy repaired at the dealer?

Edited to add; my initial thought was to head to the dealer as the wheel is black and I'm pretty pedantic about colour matching. But, having had a quick google it seems things have change sine this thread originate and there are quite a few mobile repairers now.

Anyone any feedback on those, or other suggestions in Abu Dhabi?
