Silly agency chaps - replaced an E60 M5 engine by mistake!

Please note that this chap most definitely did not kill his M5 and then replace the engine.

What happened was, right, the agency made a mistake, right, er, during the service and instead of changing the filters, you know, they, erm, well, they changed the entire engine! Silly agency...

Provided the 3,500km the new engine has covered was done with a bit more sympathy its a lot of car for the cash!

I've got a 5 series demo from Thurs pm - Sunday am this weekend, that's going to need a new engine byt the time I give it back

I would never buy a car from someone who lied so blatently in an advert - just give us the truth and set the price at a point which recognises the fact that it is now a motor with a troubled past.

If they really have replaced the entire lump at the dealer it should be under warranty and if so it might be a deal. No idea how many hard kms the rest of the car has done mind.

Just checked back on the price and unless you hold a new engine dear it isn't a great deal.

This on the other hand has been on for a while and floats my boat entirely...200mph anyone?
