I have posted this in the Jobs section as well, but was advised to post this here as well.

I am looking to change jobs as I am pretty fed up with mine.

Would love to go and work out in the middle east for a few years.

My degrees are business and finance related.. I am currently trying to work through CIMA though would prefer to have a job more commercially related than transactional.

Anyone recommend any good recruiters or companies?

Job market out here depends a lot on a) who you know (this is the easiest option) and b) whether you are in country or not (this is second easiest).

After that it is just like anywhere else, though someone who is known or who is available face to face will probably be ahead of you. Our experience is that it is difficult to pursuade people to come, that a lot of them don't like it when they get here and that even those who arrive face a 50/50 chance of binning it in year one.

I'd spend some time working out what it really is that you want to do. Then pick some firms to target and try to find a way in. If you just pepper the market with untargetted CVs your phone is unlikely to be ringing off the hook.

I'm not sure on agents but a quick search shouldn't be too hard. If you are senior then exec appointments do an ME focused section, as do some of the more general jobsites.

Good luck!

IT Project Management, mainly CRM and Investment Banking. Also, in the past, have run professional services and technical implementation teams.
