Just parked the mighty Civic, and walked accross the car park. A local bird in an FJ cruiser is sitting there banging on the horn. Along comes some guy,a worker there I guess, and she hands him the money to go and get her ticket for her! FFS, the machine is 10 feet away.

Same outside some shops. They park right outside the door and then stand on the horn until someone comes to serve them.

I always do my best to give them a 'you lazy bd' withering stare through their blacked out windows.

I guess because it's a female she must be scared to get out of the car , just in case

there is a perv lurking behind the bushes.

I do the same at petrol stations when they stand on their horns cos they have parked for max 30 sec's and not being serviced whilst the poor pump attendent is busy dealing with 3 other pumps (get out of the car and do it yourself - lazy FECKS) - sadly, this practice is NOT limited to Local Emirati's

For some who grew up wealthy in the third world, it is a real wakeup call to have to pump your own petrol wink

I bet.

Waiting for the day I go back to London or on holiday and pull up to a petrol station, and just sit there!

Or the ba*tards who refuse to pack their own groceries and hold everyone up in the queue.

i haven't seen this....yet, but i do notice all the time how impatient people are, if someone has to slow down by even a tenth of a mph they're straight on the horn. i was beeped at by a hummer last night when crossing the road and reached the pavement whilst he was still 50yds away.

are car air horns legal here? hehe

ps - having my shopping packed annoys me. not too bad at the mo as all i'm buying is lime, coke and tonic.

And msot of them are on their phone at the same time.

When shopping I avoid queues with either locals in it or a local behind the till. You know it will involve pain and suffering.
