Summer appears to have arrived in force and with a full black leather interior the car is starting to feel like a furnace.

I will be going along to V-Kool later today to tint the windows. I don’t want them too dark. 20 percent? 30 percent? What would you recommend?

Thanks chaps

I would (and have) got them at the legal limit, can't remember what that is now, 30%?

You can usually get away with 50% if you pick black, but the limit used to be 30%. Emirate petrol stations sometimes have offers on, and don't forget that you can get a clear tint fitted to the windscreen which helps.

I have 30% on the front sides and 50% on the rear and rear sides on both my DD and the Wife's Tahoe. It's the way forward.

Bear in mind that the law is quite specific, if not always enforced. Max tint 30%, and nothing on the front screen at all, not even clear.

Cheers for the responses. I have a voucher via HSBC for V-Kool. Will opt for the 30 percent sides and back with clear UV screen up front.
