Hope this is allowed. Mods feel free to remove if not smile

Toyota Landcruiser LC4 3.0 Diesel Automatic. 2 owners, 75k miles with full Toyota service history. 2005 55 plate.

Any pointers on what it's worth private, and do these sell fairly easily?

I'd say a packet of Jaffa cakes and a pork pie, tops.
If your'e sat there with internet access and can't figure that one out, I suspect you're doomed!

£14,650 Trade, dunno about private.
If it was me I'd try to pitch it somewhere between trade and what the main dealers want.

Spot on. Just accepted a trade bid at 14.5k. Saves the hassle of selling private.

Cheers

Bloody popular cars, due to awesome reliability and longevity, might not be as much hassle selling private as you think?

How come you're getting rid? It's barely run in....

It's a fab vehicle - goes anywhere! It used to be my personal car and i gave it to the missus a couple of years ago when she sold her Mini. She just fancies a change i suppose. I reckon she'll be having a 3 series scratchchin

I must admit - it's been cheap as chips to run really. It had to have the injectors replaced but Toyota picked up the tab at 4 years old - thank you Toyota smile

I've lost far less per year on this car (had it 5 years this coming October) than anything else i've ever bought.

I would recommend the Landcruiser to anyone. The other choices at the time was a Discovery - seems these are very hit and miss in terms of reliability though. X5 was a tad 'footballers wives', and the Merc and Audi were overpriced imho.
