I go there often as it is the closest site to me. It isn't a massive site (30 odd acres) but it really has a bit of everything.I guess thats why I keep going back. It has everything from subtle tracks for the shiny stuff, to some of the claggiest stuff known to man, that you WILL not get through! It'll keep you busy for a day
I'll be there on the 27th anyway!

Thanks for the info NB you may well see me there then. Gotta talk it over with me mates first as there could be a convoy of 5/6 vehicles but it is a 2 hour drive from us so we'l see what happens.

No worries, I appreciate it's a long haul.
I think it is only £15 on the 27th. If you make it, I'll buy you a brew to help alleviate the 2 hour haul!!

Been out there a few times during the festive period usually new years day.

I know a few guys who recently got fined for being "off the BOAT", despite them having a GPS with multimap and knowing they were "on" the byway, all bacause they didnt know the byway had been moved 50m.
Then when finally back on road they got stopped by VOSA and had their tanks dipped!

Be careful where u go on the plain.

Thats a bit harsh ... never had any trouble from the Wardens or MOD Pol if your not causing any problems.. common sence is usually enough to get out of most situations.
I've been off Piste a number of times and been stopped... have been polite and never had any issues...

Have been up there over the last few days and its "interesting".. also recovered a number of cars for the wardens.

Will post up on here if were going out and PM those that have expressed an interest.

Tixover is open on the 2nd.
Might let the RR loose for it's premier muddy session.
